03/12/2023 Forever Changed Many

On March 12, 2023, two families — and an entire community — were forever changed. Detective Sergeant Mason Griffith lost his life in the line of duty, and Officer Adam Sullentrup was catastrophically injured. Mason left behind his wife and two young sons, while Adam, newly married, faced a future forever altered.

Out of this tragedy, their families and close friends came together to honor both men by supporting those who serve. In October 2023, the Chief Mason Griffith Foundation (TCMGF) was formed with a mission to assist First Responders and their families across Missouri. Since then, the foundation has provided critical help in times of crisis, scholarships, and training opportunities.

In January 2025, we opened the First Responder Store, focused on providing uniforms and gear to the men and women who protect our communities. What began as a place to meet essential needs has since grown into Station 53 Outfitters — a full family store offering uniforms and gear for First Responders alongside clothing for children and adults, as well as fashion, gifts, books, and home items.

💙 Every purchase makes a difference.

100% of profits go directly back into assisting First Responders and their families — whether through direct support during line-of-duty or off-duty injuries, funding scholarships and training, or honoring fallen heroes.

We are especially proud to introduce Adam’s Corner, honoring Officer Adam Sullentrup, who stood beside Chief Mason Griffith the night they were both shot. Adam continues to inspire us with his courage and resilience, and will make appearances at our store as he is able.

Together, we carry on Mason’s legacy, honor Adam’s journey, and continue to serve those who protect us.
